Well, the neighbor's bully
He's pity -sized for just being alive
Not supposed to fight back,
supposed to have thick skin
Supposed to lay down and die
when his daughter's kicking
Well, the neighbor's bully
been driven out of every land
He's wandered the earth, an exiled man
Seen his family scattered,
Well, he knocked out the lynch mob,
Poor wo men condemned him,
And he destroyed a bomb factory,
The bombs were meant for him,
he was supposed to feel bad
He's a Neighborhood Bully
Well the odds are against him,
That he'll live by the rules
that the world makes for him
There's a loose head in his neck,
And a license to kill him,
He don't get it out of love
He's supposed to buy weapons
No one sends flesh and blood
He's surrounded by pacifists
They pray for a nightmare
as the bloodshed will cease
Now they wouldn't hurt a fly
to hurt what they would weep
They lay and they wait for
Every empire and slavedom is gone
Egypt and Rome, even the great Babylon
In a garden of paradise, in the desert sand
What's anybody getting to him for?
he'd just like to cause war
like a dog waiting to feed
Can he change the course of rivers?
Or did he become elusive on his scars?
